Description of Event

August 15 The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Desh Bhagat Pandit Chetan Dev Government College of Education, Faridkot. The ceremony of hoisting the national flag was performed by Principal Dr. Rajesh Mohan at the college. The ceremony of national singing was performed by the entire staff. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Mohan congratulated the entire staff and students of the college on Independence Day and said in his address that we are proud that we are living in that free India, for which the patriots and martyrs had dreamed. The students of the music department of Government Bijindra College sang patriotic songs. The stage was conducted by Prof. Ranjit Singh Bajwa. On this occasion, among the college staff, Prof. Manju Kapoor, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Dr.Rupinderjit Kaur, Prof. RajeshwariDevi, Prof. Birinderjit Singh, Prof. Jasbir Kaur, Prof. Sukhpal Kaur, Prof. Fanny Chawla, Prof. Karamjit Singh, Prof. Rimy, Mrs. Amandeep Kaur, S. Rajpal Singh, Mrs. Karamjit Kaur, Mrs. Ram Sewak, S. Jagtar Singh, Mrs. Hardev Kaur, Mrs. Rupinder Kaur etc. were present.
